STC Conference a success!
On Tuesday 21st May the Silverstone Technology Cluster held its 2nd annual conference at the De Vere Horwood Estate.
In attendance representing Longhurst was our founder, Chris Broome.
A growing community
With over 150 delegates in attendance, we were treated to insightful presentations covering all things autonomous vehicles; additive manufacturing; energy conservation; medical innovation; the skills challenge; connectivity; the Oxford to Cambridge Arc (or Super Cluster); and the impact of AI and Machine Learning.
Compered by our good friend, Jon Corbett of Barclays Bank; and surrounded by both clients of Longhurst and guests of the Inside Silverstone Podcast; a great day was had by Chris.
Having set up our Longhurst stand in the main networking area; over 2 dozen attendees took home a free gift from us in the form of a life-focused book called ‘Enough’. Chris even got to meet Exchequer Secretary to HM Treasury, Robert Jenrick; who took our gift also.
What next
Recordings for season two of the podcast have now come to an end, with the season being aired over the next few months. In the meantime we will be recording special group mastermind sessions covering all things senior management acquisition and retention; as well as one on electric vehicles.
