Welcome to the team ‘Sian’
We’re all very lucky to be living on an amazing island (it is .. really), that forms part of a beautiful planet, filled with fascinating and memorable places to visit.
From the country hills or coastal towns of the UK; through to the tropical islands and culture of Asia; to everywhere and everything in-between.
Too many countries to visit them all, but just enough time to add some to our bucket list.
Our Chris (and his partner Louise) are travelling to Africa this summer to tick off a huge bucket list item of theirs; a 2+ week safari.
They’ll be visiting Zambia, Botswana, and Namibia; taking in Elephant Sands, the Kalahari Desert, white water rafting, and a lazy ride up the Okavango Delta.
It’s going to be amazing and they can’t wait. And they have a certain Sian Pages to thank for this.
Who is Sian?
Sian was introduced to Chris by a trusted friend and fellow member of the Silverstone Technology Cluster, Sally Povolotsky.
The brief was, find Chris and Louise an amazing safari trip in Africa, that takes in as much wildlife and scenery as possible. A full 2+ week itinerary mapped out. Holiday booked. Bucket list item to be ticked off!
Chris was so impressed with Sian’s personal and bespoke travel planning service, he decided to ask her to join the Longhurst team as an external partner, so that we can provide bespoke travel planning services to our loyal clients.

How will Sian be helping our clients?
Sian acts as an in-house travel consultant. Think hotel concierge, but for your travel and holiday arrangements.
She will be promoting different adventures and ideas each month via our monthly newsletter, and will be attending future client and professional partner events.
Clients are free to engage with Sian, who, will in turn, put together a bespoke travel and holiday plan, including all flights, hotels, transfers, and special touches, for your consideration.
There’s no obligation at this stage. It’s just a simple discovery process similar to how we engage with a new prospective financial planning client.
If you then like the travel plans suggested, and want to proceed with the travel booking, Sian takes care of that for via a one-off payment, or via a monthly payment plan.
What’s the charge/catch from Longhurst?
There’s no charge and no catch.
Not only does Sian provide a very personal and bespoke service, but it is delivered at no expense to our clients, and with no financial insentive paid back to us. None.
This means you can access tailored travel planning, that’s both ABTA and ATOL protected, at no additional cost compared to you booking directly.
The difference is Sian is doing all of the work for you, with her being paid a small fee from the travel provider for introducing you to them.
Even better, Sian is also able to access discounts and upgrades due to the relationships she has with the likes of Sandals, Kuoni, Thomas Cook, Tui, and Ingrams (to name just a few).
