This week I was surprised and honoured to be awarded the NextGen Planner ‘Future Leaders Programme delegate of the year’.

NextGen Planners are the UK’s most widely recognised, and best-loved, membership organisation focused on supporting the financial planning community in building profession defining, client-focused businesses and awesome career pathways.

Their Future Leaders Programme focuses on developing the next generation of financial planning practices, and was attended by some of the UK’s best and indeed young(er) business owners and senior managers.

The feedback from the programme lead was that I (and Longhurst) clearly evidenced we are going above and beyond in all aspects of delivering a human-focused financial planning and wealth management service to our clients.

Personally, I’m delighted to receive such an accreditation from close peers and friends. I’ve built Longhurst from conception through to present day, and with the support of our growing team and colleagues we’re now starting to get industry and regional acknowledgement.
